This is a piece of junk. The first one had to be returned because it was DOA (she died on arrival at you minions), now here I am with the second one and its junk too. The light comes on, and secondly, they just don't charge. The batteries are brand new and charge perfectly from my car charger and my Black and Decker pecker wrecker. So obviously it's a piece of crap that doesn't work. To give him some reason to doubt I hooked up my multimeter to it and you guessed it. Nothing. Komon, China, please do something. Update, second, also DOA, when I looked closely at the wire I found a spot where the wires had fused together causing a short. No wonder, it was a replacement, also scrap. Order this charger and then immediately throw it in the trash.
