Review on πŸ”© MKT Cons-Set Masonry Phillips Diameter Fasteners for Screws by Jonathan Abreu

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Super strong screws!

Coming from a country where brick/stone houses are the norm, I have to say I have never seen screws like this! In general, when drilling in masonry, we were only left with screws with raw dowels. I've never seen screws driven into concrete so directly. You are strong too. I broke a decent Stanley screwdriver I had for years trying to tighten one of these. Even with a drill at full blast and screwing in, they took a lot of trouble cutting and holding my garage organizer. The splints are just as strong as anything else. As one of the other reviewers pointed out, the drill that comes with the screws is pretty pathetic. For me it may have taken a hole. I installed garage tracks on a concrete wall in my garage (damn it looked like a steel plate). I did about 45 exercises. I recommend the Bosch LBH002 5/32 type (bought at Lowe's) - they were good but only lasted 2 holes. Some reviewers have had success with the Bosch HCBG0205 Blue Granite hammer drill available from Revain, but they didn't work for me. I sincerely recommend them. Brilliant!
