Type of review

Item in working condition. I used them to attach a few things to the cement block wall in my garage (gladiator rails and a few small parts). I've only broken one or two (even with the appropriately sized pilot hole drilled beyond ideal depth and dust free), which seems above the norm for faucets in my garage wall. due to a mistake or two. While not a product defect (and left out of my 4/5 review), if you pick them up you might want to consider getting square or hex drive equivalents instead. I…

Great when usage changes

I was doing a ground planting at the base of a house and needed to put a cement board on the plaster to protect the house. These screws worked well using the recommended (included) 5/32 masonry bit for cement board and a smaller size (I used 1/8) for drilling pilot holes in plaster. Using the included masonry bit the screws weren't able to 'bite' enough for a secure fit. They were hand tightened to prevent stripping with a power tool. Super strong screws!

Coming from a country where brick/stone houses are the norm, I have to say I have never seen screws like this! In general, when drilling in masonry, we were only left with screws with raw dowels. I've never seen screws driven into concrete so directly. You are strong too. I broke a decent Stanley screwdriver I had for years trying to tighten one of these. Even with a drill at full blast and screwing in, they took a lot of trouble cutting and holding my garage organizer. The splints are just as…
