Review on Elevate Your Kitchen Game With EATNEAT 5-Piece Cutting Board And Knife Set: Premium Plastic Boards And Stainless Steel Santoku Knife Included by Alex Cassanova

This is not a Premium Set

I ordered this 5 pc Cutting Board & Knife Set because of the Premium and Razor Sharp description. It arrived packaged in a very thick hard plastic that enveloped the entire set including the handles. This type of packaging is the worst! You will see it often in big box stores and trying to remove the plastic, you will either cut yourself or the product, in this case it was the latter. Fighting to remove the hard plastic from the boards, it ended up cutting into the handle of one board. Once I finally got it opened I quickly realized that this is a BASIC set with thin boards and a lightweight knife that is no where near razor sharp. The sizes of the boards are accurate but the smallest board has a bump/wave in it, isn't flat and slides easily due to the rubber feet being too short. They're thinner than most other boards, leaving minimal space for liquid juices running from melons, steak, etc.My biggest disappointment is the 7" Santoku knife. The handle feels too light and only the white section of the handle has grip, while the grey part is slick. Advertising the blade as razor sharp, I expected it to easily slice through a tomato, which it did not. It's not much sharper than my old dull knives. The sheath fits the knife well, but really isn't a necessity for this particular knife.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • The plastic cutting boards are flimsy and may not hold up to heavy use
