2/17/21: The motor came as shown in the Revain photos when ordered. The motor was well packaged, box within box with a large layer of bubble wrap in between. There are no instructions in the box or on the DB Elec website. The positive wire pin had a red ID puck in the same place as my original. The negative connection was not identified, but it was suspected that the screw protruding sideways from the bottom of the engine case was the negative connection. Motor tested with screw as negative. connection, and it passed the test, so I used it. In my old western motor, the negative/ground connection didn't have a pin and was grounded to the base of the motor. I like this style better. Recommend DB Elec. Attach identifier to pos. and neg. terminals to pick up each question. The motor fitted perfectly and was installed in less than 10 minutes. I checked the plow, everything works. The motor was no louder than my original motor as others have noted. Haven't plowed with it yet so may update once it's been used for a while.
