I installed this motor on my Fisher Plow from an '87 Toyota Tacoma. I am planning to install this plow on my Mazda b4000 '94. The engine works as expected.

Replaces an old western motor that used a lot of electricity just to move the blade. The new motor fitted perfectly and now the motor runs quietly and smoothly. I bought it back in December 2016. It was used to plow my front porch until the end of this winter and last winter. This year I pulled the plow out of the garage (when not in use it's in a heated garage), it worked for a few minutes and then stopped working. Put the original western motor back in (it's over 20 years old) and it still runs, just a bit noisy which is why I changed it in the first place. 2/17/21: The motor came as shown in the Revain photos when ordered. The motor was well packaged, box within box with a large layer of bubble wrap in between. There are no instructions in the box or on the DB Elec website. The positive wire pin had a red ID puck in the same place as my original. The negative connection was not identified, but it was suspected that the screw protruding sideways from the bottom of the engine case was the negative connection. Motor tested with screw as negative…
