I connected 2 USB devices, an HDMI monitor and an Ethernet cable. Everything works for about 2 hours. Then the network connection begins to fall and fall. When this problem occurs, my working VPN connection becomes unusable. To troubleshoot, I unplugged the ethernet cable and plugged it directly into the laptop. The network connection stabilizes. I then reconnected the ethernet cable to the USB hub and now after 30 minutes the connection became unusable. I put an ice pack on the device and it really helped. I suspect that the problem is due to excessive heat. I haven't tried using a powered USB-C connector, but I suspect that would further exacerbate the heat issue. Overall, I used the device for an 8-hour working day, with the network part not being used for a long time. I will return the device.
