Great blade, the best of circular saws

This is not a dedicated chop saw blade but new, it makes incredible chop cuts. Better than it should be. I've tried cherry, oak and pine, they're pretty easy to cut and it worked. I then tried different plywood products, some of which were covered with very thin veneers. All cuts were unassisted when the blade came out to see what it could do. No scoring, pre-cutting, gluing or other methods to minimize tearing. The lack of breaks was striking. Much better than my previous 50 combination disc. I think the difference is high ATB. (And because of the high ATB, you should be careful with this blade, especially when it's new. It bites. As for tearing, it's enough not to overcome my laziness at most tears. I have a 24-tooth Blade, but almost never have to use it for cracks less than 1.5" thick. It may be obvious, but it's no competitor for dado handles, etc. The bottom of the cut becomes extremely uneven due to the Hi-ATB my first blade came broken on a tooth. Apparently it was dropped before shipping. Freud could have used better packaging with more crush zones. Of course this could cost more than just replacing the damaged blades. Anyway, I didn't call anyone , as Revane replaced the blade immediately Point Check the packaging and teeth when you receive the blade Carbide is very brittle and does not take drops well I would heer any dropped blade set, even if no broken tooth is visible th.
