Looks great, great idea. But good intentions don't make it a good clamp. I use two of these to attach the pipe coupler from my intercooler to the top pipe of the intercooler. If you tighten the clamp enough that you can't move the pipe or move the clamp, which feels the same as a well-sealed cheap worm drive clamp, the coupling will still disengage from the pipe under pressure. If you tighten it a few more turns. It will begin to warp or buckle the pipe where the two pieces of clamp meet and are covered by the thicker piece of metal. Either it doesn't hold the boost or it's so tight that it damages the tube. Yes, and the pipe is not cheap, I have a K&n Typhoon Inlet. These clamps aren't even capable of the same quality of work as a $1 slug clamp. I had to stop and replace the pipes that popped out of the injection pipe twice on the side of the road. The springs look heavy but compress immediately when the clamp is first tightened. Therefore, the tension applied decreases each time you loosen or reuse the clamp. At this point after removing and installing this clamp several times. I need to tighten the clamp until the spring is fully compressed (which means it's pointless now as it can't expand for thermal expansion to happen as intended) to keep the clamp tight enough to support normal boost pressure (26 pounds boost pressure) to cope with. If I lower the rating to 1 star they are not worth the metal they are made of.
