Perfect Old Fashioned Percolator w/ UPDATE.

My Pop's is all about his coffee, and he loves percolators, he likes that burnt cowboy coffee, strong and black, until it tastes of used motor oil. Meh, but that's my Pop's! He loves this thing. My only gripe about it is that the fill markers are kinda hard to read inside the pot, and there's no water level meter so you know how full it is. It's build quality is okay, it say's it's stainless steel but it feels light and the base is a raised poly carbonate that kinda slides around on the counter, so set this on a heat resistant silicon pad and your good to go. All in all, this is a basic pot that will do the job, it's not heavy duty at all so keep that in mind. The thing about percolators is that the spigots are of poor quality, and that's pretty much any pot you get, so I recommend get'n the extended warranty on it in case if falls off the counter coz it will break with ease.Oh, one more thing, brew a twenty cup pot of water with a cup of vinegar before you use this thing to flush out any chemical residue, you may know that, but from the review I read, many people don't.UPDATE; 7.13.21Okay, the heating element is starting to go out on this thing, not sure if I'm gonna order another one or something else? These are still good pots, we've owned two over the paste few years,. Last purchased Sep 29, 2019, and it lasted almost two years. Not bad, could be better. Haven't had any corrosion problems like others talk about with the heating element. What do you expect when its made in China?
