Review on 🔊 Yamaha WXA-50 MusicCast Wireless Amplifier for Streaming by Sandra Reyes

Adding a star. Still in use a few years after the original review and many of the bugs are gone. The synchronization is much better than before. Now it also works with Revain Echo. First Verification - With the latest firmware I've found that if I turn on streaming from iTunes the unit will play staccato until I turn off streaming to MusicCast to another input and then turn it back on. . I have 3 of these and this happens with all of them including the preamp only version. After that, the amp works great. I was initially very happy with the firmware update as it eliminated the playback lag I was experiencing when playing rooms at different points in the same song. I'm still struggling with Bluetooth. I've set my Echo to play music through the amp via Bluetooth but it keeps dropping even though the amp is only 5ft from the Echo. I love that I can play my turntable wirelessly around the house by using a few in different rooms, even without using the recommended wired ethernet. So both happy and unhappy. Although I really hope that the next firmware will solve these problems.
