Review on 🍀 Clover Soft Touch Crochet Hook: 2.50mm, Brown - Enhanced SEO by Carol Miller

I've heard a lot of good things about the Clover Soft Touch hook and through all my research this hook has consistently gotten high marks. I was carrying my cheaper 3mm hook ( yes it works : ) So I treated myself to the Clover Soft Touch. To my chagrin, as I excitedly started using the hook, I felt the handle scratch my palm. Upon closer inspection, there is a seam on either side of the handle (where the two sides connected) that isn't flush with the rest of the handle and is rough, I knew that over time I spent crocheting this trivial little stitch would irritate my palm as I didn't want to send it back (because I am lazy) I decided to sandpaper the seam so it was flush with the handle The sanding worked so I'll keep and use the hook I know if you find this Ha ken in a set but expensive so I'm wondering if I have a butt hook. I do not know. I don't think I'll risk buying another one (although the grinding worked) if I end up wearing out the other hooks I have. Addendum: I've been using this hook for a while since sanding down a rough seam and I have to say I really like this hook. I have small hands and my stitches are naturally tighter with this crochet hook which is perfect for amigurumi work. I can repurchase this hook in a different size, although I have to sand the seam of each hook to use it. I will leave my 3 star rating because I don't think I need to use sandpaper on the handle. This step must be performed by the hook manufacturers.
