Brackets are too small.

I was able to fit these mounts to the back of my Nuvi GPS with no problems. Attaching to the mounts was a big problem. I have both an original Garmin friction mount and a Garmin suction cup mount that I bought in 2010. These mounts are too small to fit over the mounts handle. I even used some lube but I was never able to attach the mounts to any of the mounts. Based on what I read in other reviews, I removed the metal rings from the mounting holes (not an easy task). The bracket now fits both brackets and is VERY snug. Since some others don't seem to have encountered this issue, I've concluded that it's probably a quality control issue causing the mounting hole sizes to vary.
