A great idea. Bad performance design.
This air intake is great for a 1983 GMC K10 with an 800cc Holly carburetor. feet per minute (NO spacer between hat and carb) with factory holes in radiator bracket for 4" pipe. β’ βͺοΈThe only design flaw is the gap between the bottom plate and the upper case. There is a Β½" gap that draws in HOT air first before cold air enters the filter. Use a rubber hose cut on one side to close the gap as mentioned in other reviews.
