Used to make a 1 3/4" groove for a >1 Density Tropical Oak (Quercus) door. Requires 5-5mm passes but the finished groove is of the highest quality Quality The only problem is that as the edge wears out fairly quickly and I have no idea if it's even possible to sharpen the bit in an effective way, I'm thinking some sort of attachment with a Chicago Electric Carbide Saw Sharpener is used could, but my experiment along these lines didn't work Don't forget to adjust your spindle's direction of rotation to use this bit Easy to forget, especially over 70 :) Best
