The maximum width does not match the reported maximum width. Rather of the predicted 225 at full inflation, 2.4 atm only manages to achieve 215mm. Nothing came of my communications with the maker. They first asked me for the date and place of purchase, then for photographic proof, and finally for me to halt all further contact while offering to report the discrepancy to any official authority. Rapid tire wear is a problem; the manufacturer of my car suggests 2.4 atmospheres. At this pressure, though, the tire's center begins to wear away rapidly; the sweet spot for (loudly true) wear is really at 2.2 atm. Although rubber is advertised as weatherproof, it actually turns "wooden" at temperatures below zero. The stock Bridgestone "duler" can be used without worry; it hides any signs of wear. Although I put a lot of miles on my car each year, I've never heard of rolling tires in the heat. People who have never purchased new tires before are likely to leave the most positive reviews. This is my opinion; any reasonable individual will find it hard to avoid drawing comparisons to superior rubber.
