Review on 🔨 OCDUMNB Leather Hole Punch Set with Diamond Lacing Stitching Chisel and Stamping Board - (4m 1+2+4&6) - Leatherworking Tools by Lori Aguirre

This punch set and board is great. They are easy to use and appear to be durable. I am new to the leather industry. I've just started learning how to make each type of leather craft, but they are very easy to use and very useful for getting nice evenly spaced stitch holes. I actually had 3 sets of shocks and this set was the best value for what you get in my opinion. My other two kits did not include a stamp board. I would say the metal stamps are of average quality. They are not as heavy and strong as any of my other sets but they are much better than the other set I have. I believe they will serve me for a long time. I've made some seam holes with them and haven't seen any signs of bending or warping. I used a nylon coated leather mallet and there didn't appear to be any marks or damage on the top of the handles. I've found that it takes me 3-4 presses to get through most instrumental leathers I've used. Yes, the pickguard can be larger, but it's larger than the area you can hit at one time anyway, so it just means you're moving the board and/or material with each hit every few hits. If this is a problem and you want a bigger board then you can definitely buy a bigger board. I had no problems with it and would recommend this set to other beginners like me who are just starting out.
