Both high and low pressure tools do not hold shredder valves in any way and therefore cannot remove or install valves. The tool has a manufacturing defect that causes the gap between the two small lugs (for lack of a better term) at the end of the positioning rod that would normally "grab" the Schrader valve to be too large to accommodate the valve to keep effective. This malfunction is immediately apparent when using the shredder valves included in the kit. Where is the quality guarantee? It only takes a few seconds to see that the stem is not holding the valves. Every other aspect of the instrument is fantastic. It doesn't leak, is very easy to use and the case will keep your tools organized and protected from damage for years to come. I was able to loosen and tighten the valve without losing freon. However, the Schrader valve could never pass through the check valve, so I couldn't remove it. This is one of the few tools that I sincerely regret having to return. Hope others have better experiences.
