I bought these knives as a Christmas present for my brother a few years ago. They come in very pretty packaging, which makes a great gift. Out of the box they are very sharp and look very nice. They are very well balanced and look great in the kitchen. Now that a few years have passed my brother has had no issues with these knives and they are still in great condition. My brother doesn't take much care of his stuff either, so these knives have to be extremely durable to take a beating, I'm sure he did. They're not dishwasher safe, which is a bit annoying, but my brother has tested them a few times with no problems. He has sharpened them several times, which was very easy to do yourself with the right sharpener. I'm glad these knives served my brother well and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great wedding, birthday or Christmas gift.
