This is a great durable product that will protect your inactive door effectively. Currently used on our French doors to have a privacy lock for the office. Installation is easy when replacing an old door lock, but it can be tricky when installing in a new door. I used a straight cut 3/4 Diablo with my router that had an edge guide. Doing it by hand wasn't ideal and I had to fill in a few edges with wood filler. It would be nice if they included an aluminum router clamp or something to make installation easier. Be aware of this setup issue if you're new to woodworking like me. Overall the product does what it was designed to do and doesn't show when the door is closed which was the purpose.
