Review on πŸ”§ Dremel 121 Rotary Tool Accessory Carving Bit - Ideal for Woodwork, Plastic, and Soft Metal Crafting by Maurice Matlock

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They're all good as long as they're "Dremel ".

It's almost a no-brainer, but just in case. Dremel produces many sizes and shapes, just like other manufacturers. Dremel products are the way to go because their shape is precise, the cutting edges are precise, and the steel is of the highest quality and hardened to last with proper use. They are designed to remove material from soft materials such as wood and plastic at a rate slow enough to avoid burning through or annealing the chisel steel. Hard woods like ebony, rosewood, etc. can be too hard. Have a small, stiff brass cleaning brush handy when working with plastic, as these often melt into burrs. They're not cheap, but they last a very long time. I even sharpened mine with a very thin needle file.
