I didn't want this product to be able to watch TV while driving. The only reason I bought it is that it was a lot easier to install than digging around my dash for the correct factory wiring to use the DVD player. Not to mention that you have to put the parking brake on just to use the DVD function. After installation, the DVD player worked perfectly. The wiring sensor is very small, making it easy to hide behind the radio. If you're replacing your radio and didn't previously have DVD capabilities, this is a must and will save you a lot of work.
