Review on 🔧 IRWIN Tools VISE-GRIP Locking Wrench with Wire Cutter - 4 Piece Set, Silver Metallic, 175mm (7in) by Paul Lee

If you need a tool to loosen or hold tight nuts and bolts this is a great option. Jaws are designed to accept hex head fasteners (bolts, nuts, etc.) and hold them securely in place. They are excellent for loosening heavily tightened or rusted nuts and bolts. Special jaws provide a much more secure grip than traditional vise grip pliers or wrenches. (But beware: these special jaws make this tool less versatile than traditional Vise-Grip pliers.) Be sure to choose the right size. In my experience, using the wrong size, even if the clasp can fit, increases the risk of rounded corners on the clasp. These "keys" are available in three different sizes. The smallest (Vise-Grip 4LW 4" Original Locking Wrench) has jaw sizes from 1/4" (6.4mm) to 9/16" (14.3mm) which is great for small household fasteners, electronics, toys, etc. The medium size model (7LW) reviewed in this review has jaw sizes ranging from 7/16" (11mm) to 3/4" (19mm) which I think should fit most fasteners I've encountered encounter at home, works well. Owners and hobbyists. I have not (yet) bought a larger model (Vise-Grip 10LW Locking Wrench with Wire Cutter) that has a jaw size of 5/8" (15.9 mm) to 1 1 /8" (28.6mm) has mm).But it's on my wish list!
