The first application of any type of ceramic coating and after some basic prep work is fairly easy. Applying isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle and wiping it off after a regular wash (detergent) and applying clay all over the car was all I did and the results were very good. Time will tell, but considering how easy it is to use, I don't mind doing it twice a year. I have used Meguiar Hybrid Ceramic before after washing and it was good but didn't leave as smooth a finish as the actual finish. Please note my car is five years old, the silver paintwork is in excellent condition as it always sits in the garage when not at work and has been waxed like new, but this finish will show any imperfections (scratches , stone chips, etc.). ), which hybrid ceramic waxes do not. So while painting my one car, I didn't decide to paint it to a different, darker color as the last thing I wanted was to highlight the imperfections of the dark paint. I suggest applying sparingly and in small areas or panels. Never leave this stuff on the surface for too long, otherwise it's almost impossible to remove (there's residue on my rear window next to the rear wiper, which luckily isn't very visible).
