Review on πŸ”Œ D-Link DGS-1024D Ethernet Switch - 24 Port Gigabit Unmanaged Fanless Network Hub, Desktop or Rack Mountable, Black by Ron Turner

Is working. The position of the LEDs is strange.

Definitely not the most expensive 24-port switch on the market. D-Link meets the requirements with large frames, QoS (factory setting) and gigabit connections. For $175 I am happy with my purchase. As a network administrator, I spend my day configuring. So when I get home I don't want to think about unnecessary details like managing a switch. It replaced an 8-port Gigabit D-Link I've been using for over two years (still works fine so I replaced my friend's outdated 10/100Mbps Linksys with it). The current model has a white bezel as others have mentioned. No fans, so of course it's quiet. Does he tear? Do you think it meets the spec? Yes. I have at least 12 ports with high bandwidth traffic (multiple streams/games/file sharing) during peak hours and no issues. I had no problems with a DOCSIS 3.0 surfboard, a Linux firewall on a 2GHz PC and this switch. My only complaint is: what the heck were you smoking when you were cutting the port status LEDs? 6x4 when ports are 2x12? Yes, I can read numbers. But this is the only switch I've seen with an LED layout that has absolutely nothing to do with physical ports. I think it's in my closet right now, so I don't have to look at it, but I'm calling you about this nonsense, D-Link!
