Don't waste your money

The picture quality was terrible. The image above should be a nice sharp image of a lighthouse. I previously sent the slide to the lab to be printed and the picture is hanging on my wall. The one created by this machine is awful and even has strange lines running through it. I tried several slides and none of them worked. I found it difficult to adjust the lighting or color on the scanner itself as the image in the viewfinder is difficult to see. It's hard to know where exactly the slide goes on the tray and it's not easy to use. I wanted images that I could print for photos and clearly needed a better alternative, but I don't even think it would work to make digital copies of old family photos for posterity.

Pros
  • Comes with adapters to easily load film and negatives, film inserts etc. Allows you to output video to connect to your TV (cables for TV and HDMI included)
Cons
  • No automatically
