Easy Peasy 2006 Pilot

The part fits perfectly and as others have pointed out you can find tutorial- Videos on YouTube. how to remove the inner door panel and old regulator. At first I thought they sent me the wrong part as the motor was oriented the wrong way, but in fact I was just trying to install it upside down :-P. I used tape to hold the window in place during installation and then after installing the part I carefully lowered the window and wonder of wonders the bracket holding the window in place, was in the right place to access the screws. attaching the window to the bracket. Be sure to reconnect the switch and test its operation before reinstalling the door panel in case you need to make any adjustments. Saved me a lot of money not having to take my pilot to a "hijacker" for repairs. You will need a Phillips screwdriver, a very narrow flathead screwdriver, pliers to remove the internal dust cover, and a 10mm socket with a short extension. The part comes with some screws already partially screwed in and these screws help get into the screw holes in the door to keep everything aligned before you tighten everything. Be careful not to poke a hole in the speaker cone when handling the speaker. The electrical cord was a little short, but I was able to stretch it out for a successful connection. Let's hope that over time the tension on this line doesn't cause it to fail. You can do that!
