The universal wrench is great for quick tightening of things that can only be tightened with fingers, as well as things like C-hooks and odd-shaped fasteners. It will never replace a properly sized outlet. If you're repairing a tractor, plane, or anything heavy I wouldn't recommend it. However, if you want to leave something in the trash drawer to tighten the faucet handle or that pesky hook you hang your keys on, it's fine. It's not for heavy use. Think of it like a Leatherman multi-tool. Great in a pinch, nice and convenient, and of course it gets the job done. but you don't want to rebuild the transmission in your truck with one.
