Review on Xiaomi Mijia M365 Pro electric scooter, up to 100 kg, black by Ada Suprynowicz ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It is of good quality, but I won't buy it again.

Very happy with the scooter. I ride long distances (mostly 5-8 km trips), so a small mileage in sport mode is not critical for me. In general, the impressions were in line with expectations. If you dig into the reviews, then other users also indicate a real mileage of 25-30 km. Got pros: - Little weight. I am surprised by the comments that this scooter is heavy. Why all of a sudden? Ninebots with similar characteristics weigh 18kg+ - this is already heavy. And here the weight of the whole scooter is 14.2kg. It will certainly be hard for the girls, but for the guys, dragging it up the stairs will not cause any trouble at all. - Smooth running. Very soft start even in sport mode. The scooter does not rush from a place like Kugo or Ninebot, but accelerates gradually. - Motor power-wheel. The description indicates a power of 250W (so as not to cross the threshold, after which a license is required for a scooter), but in fact there is much more. You can roll back to the old firmware, and then switch to custom, where the scooter will accelerate to 35 km/h. If you plan to drive like this, it's better to put tires 10x2.5 or even 10x3.5. You will lose in the run, but on the other hand, the handling will be higher (with standard tires at this speed you will slip at every turn). - Ability to customize / replace everything in general. Due to the popularity of this model, the masters from the Middle Kingdom have heaped up a bunch of various rubbish. On alik, you can find everything your heart desires: rubber bands for the folding place, rear fender support, silicone covers for the display, off-road tires, etc. If desired, you can order front and rear shock absorbers, but this will significantly increase the weight of the scooter. - Pneumatic tires. In the absence of any cushioning, this is a very cool solution. The bumps in the road still feel decent, but in general, it is quite comfortable to ride on gravel roads. Do not try to put tubeless, because it will hit both your mileage and driving comfort. The vibrations are so strong that after a trip on a poor-quality road, your head starts to hurt. Tested on Ninebot. Cons: - Battery. It seems that 12.8 Ah is written, and it seems that the mileage is really much higher than that of Ninebots in the same price range, but there can be no talk of any 45 km even in ideal conditions (on a perfectly flat road without wind resistance and with the weight of the rider less than 50kg in eco mode) he may travel 45km, but in reality the picture is completely different. Only in sport mode with my weight (75kg) on standard firmware (that is, with a peak speed of 25km/h) with low energy recovery, the scooter will travel a maximum of 25km. The tests were carried out at a temperature of 16 degrees, so the battery could hardly degrade on the trip. The battery is in perfect order: all 12.8 Ah are present. In D mode with a high degree of recuperation, the scooter will travel + - 27-30km (tested on hilly terrain). - Synchronization with the application. Periodically refuses to connect via bluetooth with Mi Home. Sometimes during a trip, the connection may break, and all data will be lost.
