Toxic Chemicals

I've found that every time I pick up my knitwear, after a few minutes I start sneezing and my eyes start to burn. I don't have any yarn allergies so I can only assume it's either leftovers from all the disinfectants currently in use or the new chemicals used to treat the fibers before they are spun into yarn.
