I am very disappointed with this product, but the saying goes. You get what you pay for. Generally you want to keep your bike on a seat tube stand. This way, in the event of damage, you only replace the seat tube/seat post and not the entire bike (e.g. a damaged frame). However, when I mounted my two bikes (1.35lb, 2.20lb) onto the seat tube, they both turned to face the front wheel. Almost to the point where bikes were more upright than horizontal. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless trying to store a cheap "big box" bike.
