🚲 ROCKBROS Bike Repair Stand: Height Adjustable Wall-Mounted Workbench | Bike Maintenance Rack for Road and Mountain Bikes Review

I ordered them for a charity project with the lion club, we repair used bikes to give to children in need. I ordered 2 of them to get us started. Aside from the fact that the mounting hardware is junk that's easy to repair, the build quality is good. They will find many uses, so I'll check how well they hold up later.

The rack will not hold a bike attached to a seatpost, even bikes that weigh less than 20 pounds. The arm just rotates underneath. Weight. So if you have an old bike with the cables routed under the top tube, you won't be able to use the brake/shift adjuster stand. I would like to return it, but it's too late.

Installation is easy. The bike holds up, but not very easily. It would be nice if the bike was farther from the wall, but that would require thicker steel tubing and a better mounting system. It works as advertised but with the limitations you would expect. If you have more space and money, get up. If not, you must.

This stand is well built and strong, made from strong tubular steel and quality components, I expect years of service from it. Pretty good, but you have to mount it very tightly on a really stiff and strong base that has no bending/yield point. In my case I screwed the stand to a concrete wall and it works great.

I was looking for a solution to use one of my speaker stands instead of buying a whole bike stand. That works great! In several photos he is holding my 33lb full suspension Motobecane and in other photos he is holding my much lighter road bike. It has enough clamping force and rigidity to hold any bike off center with ease. Five stars!

I am very disappointed with this product, but the saying goes. You get what you pay for. Generally you want to keep your bike on a seat tube stand. This way, in the event of damage, you only replace the seat tube/seat post and not the entire bike (e.g. a damaged frame). However, when I mounted my two bikes (1.35lb, 2.20lb) onto the seat tube, they both turned to face the front wheel. Almost to the point where bikes were more upright than horizontal. This would definitely suit my needs and the price was great, but I wish the frame clamp extension was a little longer (3 or 4 inches maybe) than Where I installed it, the pedals don't quite clean the workbench. Maybe I can think of something to fix it. Everything else seems to work fine - I can currently seat tube or seatpost mount bikes and they are strong enough to work with the drivetrain, but I'm wondering if the plastic clamps will start to fail and allow for the weight of a heavier bike…
