5/5 stars for its durability and price. I bought this product in January 2012. Six months have passed and the USB hub is still working without any problems. The USB hub has survived several bike rides in my backpack to and from school. I am using a USB hub to extend one of the USB ports on my early 2008 MacBook Pro. I had no problems connecting to any of my keyboards, mice or flash drives. The USB hub also works fine on my Windows XP Bootcamp partition. I don't use a USB hub with my external USB 2.0 bus-powered hard drive - simply because I've read that some USB hubs may not provide enough power. Therefore, I cannot give an overview of this capability of the Connectland USB hub. The ONLY PROBLEM I had is the lack of space between the two front ports. Connecting two peripherals (mouse and keyboard) to the two front ports is fine, but connecting some wide flash drives can be problematic - I usually use the 2 side ports for wider devices.
