I ordered this for my husband who is starting to have some slight hearing loss. I had previously ordered him some traditional amplifiers that had the piece that sits behind the ear. He really wanted something that looked less like a hearing aid (he is a little sensitive over this issue still) which is why I thought we would try these. He took the hearing test it provided and can tell me exactly how much hearing he lost in both ears (each was at a different level) and had fun playing his music through his phone and testing out all the different features. This product worked wonderfully and did a little educating in the process. Unfortunately, he can only wear them for about an hour because they start to hurt his ears due to the size and hard plastic. He often reverts back to using the over the ear amplifier he previously used because they are smaller in the ear and have a soft silicone ear piece. If there was a way to do that with these, they would be a solid 5 stars.
