The amplification is pretty strong and If I had to put to put a number on its amplification strength I'd say it amplifies sound by 3 to 4 times. Out the box these are pretty lackluster, but once you pair it with the app that's when these start to shine. I've been testing several hearing amplifiers for grandparents that are starting to have their hearing fade. These are maybe the best set that I've tested when it comes to overall performance. Many of these have a hard time picking up voices and instead amplify ambient noise. I liked these at first, they had good noise cancelation and paired to the phone well. However after a week of use the left one keeps giving a tone that does not exist around me. I was rather disappointed for the price.

It is very diffivult to fit the hearing aid to the hearing profile! The noise reduction feature is very poo. It picks up all stray noises which makes it very uncomfortable!
