I began to have heel pain in one of my heels that has since been diagnosed and is currently being treated as plantar fasciitis. I ordered these before I knew what the problem was. There are 3 things that people need to know.1. If you have just one heel hurting, you must wear both of these. They add height to your foot. If you wear only one, it's uncomfortable plus you will create another problem walking with one leg longer than the other.2. They are thick. They heighten your foot in your shoe. They made my foot so that the back of my heel was up over top of where the back of the shoe should be, causing my shoes to 'flip flop' up and down.3. Since they heighten your heel, your foot is left with a void under the arch. I nearly went to my knees 3x walking thru a parking lot due to pain in the arch of my foot. These may work for you if you have a generously sized shoe that ties snugly but I still suggest some type of arch support if the shoe doesn't already have it.
