I chuckle to think that knitting needles are see through! I'm not sure who compiles these review questions, but they clearly don't understand the meaning of the word "pure". I just replied to another review of candy jars and they said cleanliness was again one of the qualities they asked for! Back to knitting! These are circular needles. The plastic wire between the ends of the needles could be a bit more durable, but it does the job. Knitting with circular needles differs from knitting with straight needles. If you are a beginner, make sure you have someone more experienced to show you how. I use them to knit a blanket as I have done many times before. I still have to remember to switch needles at the end of the row. Otherwise you get a whistle! Although I've never tried these, I think they're perfect for knitting endless scarves!
