If you're in trouble this will get you closer but don't expect perfection. The fact that you will most likely use a square face on the end of a pair of calipers while bearing bore radius is involved means it will never be perfect. I measured 10 times and got 8 different measurements. They were all within a few thousandths of each other, so I averaged them and used what I got.
