Paying more doesn't always mean getting a better product.
I spent a little more on this than the cheaper brands thinking it would work better. However, before I even attempted to install it, I wanted to make sure the locking mechanism worked. I couldn't get it to unlock the lock. It took a lot of strength to get him to move, and then it didn't work every time. I also tried loosening the clamp screw to see if that would make a difference. But the screw is made of such cheap material that a hole was ripped out in it so it couldn't be turned. Save money, try something cheaper first
- Mounting holes are 4-15/16 in. center to center.
