Purchased to make the upper and lower ball joints on my E150. The first thing I noticed upon opening the case was a sticker inside that read "Warning: DO NOT USE BUMPER KEYS". This immediately shows that despite the weight of the tool, it is not a professional tool. Honestly, who would install ratchet ball joints if they had an impact wrench? The second thing I noticed is that the shaft doesn't unscrew easily. Do yourself a favor and apply some oil or light grease to the threads. Despite the warnings, I used my air impact wrench and tool to force out existing 20 year old OEM ball joints with no problem! Installing the new hinges was a challenge. The top joints fit well once everything is aligned. Unfortunately, none of the shells fit the bottom connectors, making it difficult to align the instrument. I chose a slightly small cup and expanded the setting force at the end of the cup! I also noticed some flex at the base of one of the caps I used. But it worked when removing and installing, it held 3/4" of my impact wrench, the body feels solid and the price is right. Three stars, four if the cup fits and doesn't puff up.
