Review on 🚪 6X34 Schlage Ives C8400B3 Kick Plate, 34 in L X 6 in W, for Exterior/Interior Door Surface by Chad Baio

I was manufactured by Schlage. The holes are pre-drilled and include mounting screws. Not thin or fat. It is very difficult to remove the product from the packaging and you will likely tear the box in several places. Sticky glue was the main cause of packaging problems. Also, the baffle plate was removed and found to be in perfect shape. Don't over tighten the bolts as that would dent the metal and having seen some of my neighbors have skid plates on themselves it makes a huge difference in appearance. The running board came in a double box and was in good condition. Size means a lot. If you have a 36 inch wide door don't get a striker that wide, two inches narrower, it gives the striker a better look and doesn't affect the weather protection and the height I could find was only eight inches. It reached the raised panel of the door and looked wrong. So finding the six-inch record made a difference. Overall, the rosette with matching door handles and brass knocker gives the front door a more elegant look.
