I have a quality case with a bumper around the cameras, but I constantly felt like my cameras were going to break. This camera cover changed that. The height is the same or lower than the body bumper, so you don't notice it. The glass is quite strong as I have slammed it on the table numerous times. The glass is transparent and does not affect the quality of the photos I take.
