This item works as expected but after 3 blizzards it stopped working, it went down but not up. After falling completely, it did not rise again. He preferred to die in the bed of my truck where it was difficult to remove the plow before ripping the quad off the bed. At least Revain has a 30 day return policy, a new one is in the mail. I just hope that doesn't happen again. Update: After getting a new one, the old one decided it wanted to work again. I think it shorted out due to water getting in, maybe it somehow seeped out of the plunger and into the contacts causing it not to work properly until dry. However, I will be returning it as it looks like a defective product, hopefully not the new one. I might try installing the new one upside down as it looks like it's more waterproof.
