Contrary to the listing, you do NOT need an Aqara Hub for this product. I connected mine to a Nortek USB HUSBZB-1 USB stick in Home Assistant with zha integration. The sensor detects vibration, but it takes a significant amount of shock to pick up the vibration. Compared to the old Smartthings multi-purpose sensors, they are significantly less sensitive. Depending on your application, this may or may not be desirable. I currently use mine as a tilt sensor to notify my stepson if he hasn't emptied his robot vacuum by a certain time. So far it has proven itself in this application. I should note that my first device stopped working after about a week. Since then the exchange has worked great.
