Solid stand. Best in Outdoor Recreation
They do a great job transporting your kayak. They appear to be "solid". The vertical arm is easy to set in a vertical position; or fold when not in use. They easily attach to an existing roof rack; and with different screw lengths, they fit almost every roof rack. There are a few general things to consider: if your car has a high roof; and if you have a heavy kayak loading is (literally) difficult. Also, since the kayaks are carried upright, you must reach high enough to tip the kayaks past perpendicular to the center line.
