basic and it's good. I bought this on a whim because I was paying my ISP $10 a month to use their really crappy modem. Of course, my ISP only gives me 15 down and 1 up. Which is terrible. Despite this, this modem coped with the task. Use it with a sudden connection. Works great. I had a hard time activating it in flash link service at first. It was absolutely useless to use the sudden link customer support hotline on the phone. I recommend giving yourself at least an hour and using the flash link tech support chat feature on their website instead. Worked flawlessly after they managed to get it working.
