I'm a contractor. I have already installed front doors. I had no problems. This product, like many others these days, demonstrates the fact that the people making it have no idea how it is actually used. First, anyone involved with doors should know that here in the US, most interior doors, whether solid or hollow, are 1 3/8 inches thick. Most exterior doors are 1 3/4 inches thick. There are all sorts of exceptions to these sizes, but in most cases typical doors are found. The problem is that the supplied bolts only fit 1 3/4" thick doors. Since flare nuts are included it is not possible to use bolts on standard interior doors. If standard nuts were supplied this fact would not matter. I won't go into the awkward fact that it's now likely that most of the equipment shipped will be metric rather than standard, but we have to constantly grapple with what doesn't make life easier to say the least.The hardware is nice and solid , but it requires some extra work to create a well-designed product.
