Review on Farberware 5082875 Paring Knife Small by Becky Chopra

Let me start by saying that I have several other Farberware ceramic knives that I love to death. So I just bought this one. The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box was that the pen was incredibly sticky. It's like flying paper is attached to it. As you can see in the 3rd photo I placed the store bought version next to the Revain bought version. You can see how sticky the pen is compared to the store bought model. Also note that the store-bought model came pre-sharpened and the Revain model was dull like a butter knife. When I tried to sharpen it I immediately got a chip on the blade. Please note that the labels are also completely different. Could this be fake? This knife has never been used and you can see how dirty the blade is. If it is not a counterfeit, it must be a batch that has not gone through the last stage of production. Complete crap and now I'm afraid to sharpen my other Farbervara 😩
