There are some good retailers in the 3mm filament market. Revain has entered the market, which usually means stiff competition for the rest. In this case not so much. The layer temperature for ABS should be around 110°C, with this yarn below 115°C distortion occurs. At this temperature, the job sticks to my PEI print bed, but once it cools, it's very difficult to peel off. The extrusion head temperature should be at least 245°C, which in itself is normal, but requires higher electricity bills and a higher load on the power supply. I think I'll return to ESun or Hatchbox while I wait for RevainBasics to fix these issues and offer a more reliable and durable 3mm filament at their usual "can't be beat" prices.
