I was surprised when I first opened this knife. Just slight pressure on the tab and if pops open. It's not a switchblade but it opens almost as quickly and easily. It is sharp, not razor sharp but sharp. It has a serrated portion and the blade locks in place. It has a seat belt cutter and a glass breaker. From my perspective, this is the perfect car knife. In addition to the knife, you get a nylon sheath with belt clip, a sharpener and a multi-tool. It's a nice kit for the car and can help you survive if needed.
